Carlton’s Jagga Smith has reportedly torn his ACL on the eve of the 2025 AFL season.
Smith, who was drafted with the third pick in the 2024 AFL Draft, suffered a knee knock on Saturday in the Blues’ match simulation against St Kilda. He was originally taken off the ground for precaution.
The nineteen year-old midfielder will unfortunately likely spend his first season on the side lines in 2025.
Carlton’s next practise match is against GWS on Friday before they play Richmond in Round One on March 13.
