The momentum of the Warriors' fast start to 2026 is rapidly fading, after the team's second straight defeat to the Sharks in Cronulla on Sunday.
After a 3-0 opening, the team now sit at 3-2, with the prospect of dropping outside of the top four, pending the red-hot Tiger's fortunes against the Eels on Easter Monday.
On the back of their efforts against the aforementioned Tigers, it was yet another one-sided loss for the Warriors, where poor discipline and error rates reared their ugly heads again.
Questions are also being asked of head coach Andrew Webster, in particular as it relates to his selection approach.
Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad again struggled back in the midfield, where Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, despite his hat-trick of tries, was ruthlessly targeted defensively by the Sharks outsiders.

According to Sport Nation's lead NRL caller Sam Hewat, it that very loyalty to his incumbents which has been Webster's biggest downfall to date.
"I do sometimes question, when you look at some of the better coaches in the NRL, his over accentuation of loyalty," Hewat told Stephen McIvor on Sport Nation's Easter Monday breakfast show.
"This is a professional sport and I get that you're a man manager, but at the same time, there's been times in the past three or four years where the writing's on the wall and we refuse to change out of blind loyalty.
"I do wonder if sometimes you do have to make a change, even for a week.
"(Storm coach) Craig Bellamy is going to make big changes this week after his side got pumped (by the Panthers). You can guarantee that.
"He's not going to just trudge out the same side and say, 'you know what, boys, I'm sticking with you'. He's going to let guys know it wasn't good enough and this is the consequence.
"'I just wonder if we need a bit more of that."
