Campbell Brown & David Taggart have your Wednesday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Sandown & Randwick Kensington in a bid to find the family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇
Cam Luke
SANDOWN
Race 4 | 5. Silent Shares
Good win last start when three wide and back to the 1400m whilst not ideal won’t be a major issue. There is no speed in the race so I can expect her to inch forward and be close again. Track contortions suit perfectly and I think the fitness will aid her late: Emphasize is the class runner but not sure of where Shinn will go. If he goes forward he will be tough to get to but he needs further so I think he will go back a bit which might hurt from the gate. He can be a little keen in front so I’m not sure they’d want that first up with better races to come.
Race 6 | 5. Jareth
Gets back to the 1600m for first time and from that gate will be closer than last start where he was great late when weaving through. This is easier than both Aust runs and he will appreciate the drier track and better gate. A little bit of speed in the race would help and Taka Speed should supply it drawn wide so I am with the horse screaming out for his first win here!
RANDWICK KENSINGTON
Race 3 | 2. Autumn Dream
Been crying out for the trip and finally gets there today! Strong through the line last start in a tougher race when out the back. Heavy track shouldn’t an issue as handled it ok at Newcastle when resuming. Nock takes two off and from that gate without much speed in race (maybe Stonecoat leads) she might be closer than last start and she will be lap up the 1800m.
Race 5 | 6. Passeggiata
Flies first up and loves the slop and judging by the two trials is ready to go for new trailer! Can sit outside Moonlight Gambler and means Morgan can angle to best part of track. It’s 1000m form is in tougher races than this. I know it’s been a while since her last win but she finds her race today.
Race 6 | 2. Bat Out Of Hell
Tough horse who loves the slop and is fit on the seven day back up which probably suits better than the three weeks into last start. He did have run of the race but got beaten by a nice horse. It’s an open race but this horse has been knocking on the door long enough and gets his chance. Narbold the danger for me! Heavy track no issue and was ok in that race at Rosehill.Race 7 | 12. Glory Daze
This race has dropped right away and I am with the toughest horse in the race. Has had a break but that has worked for him in the past and comes back to 1800m and he will be fit. No doubt his last two runs at higher levels at 2000m would win this. I think the speed map is interesting and he can lead if he wants probably at a leisure pace. He’ll be very hard to run past. Saltcoats ha smarkef support and has run third up and loves the op but the gate and no tempo might hurt him a little. They are my only two in the quaddie but my main bet is Glory Daze due to speed map.

SANDOWN
Race 3 | 4. Flying Valley (value bet)
Hits this third up and will get the run of the race from pole. Finished on their heels last start and will find this easier. Conditions suit and is a great each-way play.
Race 7 | 5. Heed The Omens
Resumes and he rarely runs a poor race. Has trialled up well for this and is looking to win fresh for the first time after having run second in both fresh runs. Draws soft gets a claim and he has to go close.
Race 8 | 4. Perfect Picture
Resumes and she raced against quality last prep. She demolished a field on debut which has been franked then pushed the handy Pop Award here the following start who has gone on. Then four off G1 winners in Treasurethe Moment and Benagil.
RANDWICK KENSINGTON
Race 3 | 1. Tazima
Missed second up with The Years winning the race who has since gone on and won again. Drops in grade, gets a 3kg claim and should be winning.
Race 6 | 1. Cristal Clear
Hits this second up where he’s a winner. Raced against some handy ones last prep, will handle the heavy and he always takes a run to hit his straps.
