The Paris 2024 Olympics saw three Kiwi wahine represent New Zealand in the women's pole vault: Eliza McCartney, Imogen Ayris, and Olivia McTaggart.
The trio placed 6th equal (4.7m), 12th (4.6m on the second attempt), and 13th (4.6m on the third attempt) respectively in the women's final.
McTaggart joined Sport Nation's Afternoons in-studio for an hour with Mark Stafford to cover all aspects of her athletics career: from her transition into the sport after ten years of gymnastics, what it's like being in the limelight from a young age, how she builds herself up to vault a personal best of 4.71m, and more.
