WATCH: Box Hill Hawk takes one of the great marks in local footy
Is this the greatest mark in local footy history?
During yesterday’s EFNL clash between Blackburn and Balwyn, Blackburn’s Daniel Wood took this stunning grab, nearly clearing a Balwyn defender and pulling in one of the great grabs in local football.
Wood, a member of Box Hill’s VFL system, went back and slotted the goal to put the icing on the cake for what may be one of the best local footy moments in recent history.
While it wasn’t enough to nail down a victory, with Blackburn falling by 11 points in the contest, it was more than enough to garner the attention of SEN’s Kane Cornes.
