Leading form analyst Mick Gannon from TheGreatTipOff and SENTrack has provided his best bets for the weekend of racing.
Gannon has targeted Rosehill for his Satruday specials.
Best Bets
Race 1, No.2 - Barbray
Deep into the prep and continuing to hold form, Barbray lands in a suitable race with the set-up to suit.
His run last start in the Group 3 Winx Guineas had plenty of merit in a race where it was tough to make ground.
Drawn out, he’ll likely land away from the inferior inside lanes and track into the right part of the straight.
The booking of Tommy Berry adds confidence, and he profiles as a genuine winning chance on the predicted heavy surface.
Rated: $4.60
Race 2, No.5 - Cold Brew
Cold Brew is flying this campaign and looks well placed to go one better here.
His win two starts ago was strong, and his latest effort when setting a genuine tempo and sticking on suggests he’s thriving with racing.
Barrier 10 allows him to find the better ground early, and the return of Jason Collett is a positive.
He’s tough, fit, and maps well in a race that falls away quickly. Expect him to be in this for a long way.
Rated: $3.80
