Who is the best player in the AFL?

After 15 rounds of football in 2025, a number of players have put their hands up to claim the coveted title of the best player in the league.

From Cats recruit Bailey Smith leading the Coaches Votes and the bookies, to Crows skipper Jordan Dawson leading his side emphatically, Nick Daicos attracting all the attention for the competition's best side and the recently returning Marcus Bontempelli putting his stardom on display, handing down such a title is certainly no simple task.

With that being said, SEN Breakfast co-hosts Garry Lyon and Tim Watson revealed their current top three players in the competition, with a six-time All-Australian claiming the consensus number one slot.
