Which jockeys have caught the eye of the Taggster in the last week of Australian racing!
“A few changes and rearranges this week,” said Taggart on SENTrack.
1 - Damian Lane
“He rode a Group double - a Group 1 Guineas on Autumn Boy and a Group 3 mares race on Oh Too Good.
“I’ll forgive him for Whisky On The Hill, still trying to get out.
“Damian Lane goes to number one.”
2 - Mark Zahra
“Got left alone (on Transatlantic in the Toorak) but I liked how he was so positive out of the gates.
“You can’t win races at the start but you sure as hell can lose them. He was positive out of the gates and he just stacked and racked.
“He was lucky nobody took him on but his ride was the perfect 10/10 ride.
“He also won on Giga Kick.”
3 - Blake Shinn
“Great ride on Globe. Just missed the Toorak (on Evaporate), nearly rode a Group 1 double.”
4 - Ben Allen
“He went from 2/2 at Caulfield on Saturday.
“He is riding up a storm, his strike rate is one of the best going around.
“Group 1 winning jockey who rode a double at Caulfield (on Zou Sensation and She's Bulletproof).”
5 - Adam Hyeronimus
“He rode a double on the weekend with a Group 3 winner plus a $1.5 million race - The Hippo.
“He is riding very well.”
6 - Zac Lloyd
“He’s riding in good form this kid. He came out of his apprenticeship six months ago.
“Rode a quartet on Saturday including a Group 3.”
