Titans duo set for new homes amid Gold Coast roster overhaul

After another underwhelming season, the Gold Coast Titans are preparing for a roster overhaul at the end of the year with a number of high profile-players reportedly being shopped around to rival clubs.
The most notable player is second-rower Beau Fermor who has arguably been the Titans’ best player in a disappointing season. After an unfortunate run of injuries over the past few years, Fermor has been a mainstay of Gold Coast’s line-up this season and was rewarded with a maiden Queensland Maroons jersey in the 2025 State of Origin series.
SEN’s Corey Parker is adamant that Fermor will not be short of potential suitors if he is to be moved on from the Titans at the season’s end.
“It’s an interesting story because Beau Fermor is one of those set and forget type of players,” Parker said on SENQ Breakfast.
“He played Origin this year and probably should’ve played more if we’re being honest.
“He’s had a wonderful comeback from an ACL injury last year and it’s interesting to read that he may want out.
“Fermor would be a handy pick-up for any team. He should be staying at the Gold Coast Titans because let’s be fair dinkum, he’s an edge back-rower every day of the week.
“He competes really hard and does those finer things in the game. He values the effort areas which are things that you want in a football player.
“The key would be who has the money but I’m thinking straight away that North Queensland (would take a look at him).”
Additionally, scintillating winger Alofiana Khan-Pereira also appears destined for a move after falling out of favour with coach Des Hasler.
The 23-year-old has scored a remarkable 53 tries in as many games but has not played a minute of football since the Titans’ Round 16 loss against Parramatta.
“He’s also been linked from a move to the club so there must obviously be some bad blood there,” Parker added.
“We thought he was injured and he’s been part of the travelling party in the 20 jersey.
“He can be pretty handy for a team as well because he has blinding speed. For the lack of tries that the Titans have scored over the last few years, he’s always been there.
“He can find his way across the try line. It’s interesting what’s going to unfold there.”
The Titans are aiming for consecutive wins for the first time since Round 4 when they host the Penrith Panthers on Saturday afternoon.
