SEN’s Dwayne Russell has named the three teams under the most pressure heading into Round 12.
Russell’s pressure meter ranks teams from 1-5, with number one having the most pressure on them and the most to lose heading into the round.
Round 12 was made of just three teams.
Check out Russell’s pressure meter below.
1 – Brisbanevs Fremantle - Gabba – Saturday
“I've got the Lions at number one,” Russell told SEN's Dwayne's World.
“They are the reigning back-to-back premier, they've lost their past two game, and their third quarter of football against the Giants was their worst quarter of football ever in the history of the club.
“It looked like they couldn't care, they were lacklustre and they were horrible.”
2 - West Coastvs Essendon – Optus Stadium – Sunday
“I've got the West Coast at two.
“They have showed great improvement this year. Maybe could've, should've would've beaten Collingwood last week at the MCG. Remember, the West Coast Eagles lost to Richmond last time they had an expectation to win at home.
“So, can't lost now to Essendon.”
3 – GWS Giantsvs Melbourne - TIO Traeger Park – Sunday
“I've actually got the Giants at three.
“Their third quarter last week shows that we maybe shouldn't have been cutting them so much slack to their poor performances earlier this year. They've shown that they are a contender if they actually get their act together.
“They're under some pressure to get their act together a bit more often. They've got Melbourne in Alice Springs - neutral territory.”
