The ratings are in for the first Monday night head-to-head battle between Channel Seven’s The Agenda Setters and Channel Nine’s Footy Classified.
It makes for a tasty storyline to watch across the footy season, with Classified panel members Craig Hutchison, Kane Cornes and Caroline Wilson jumping to Seven and starting The Agenda Setters for the 2025 season. Nick Riewoldt joined as the fourth member of the panel.
Classified rolled out Matthew Lloyd, Jimmy Bartel, Damien Barrett, Sam McClure and Tom Morris in response overnight.
And it was the Nine program that won the first battle, with Footy Classified achieving a Total TV National Audience of 208,000 and 100,000 in Melbourne, 38,000 more than its nearest competitor – as per Media Spy.
Agenda Setters’ debut meanwhile rated 196,000 and finished narrowly outside the top 30 programs on Monday night.
Both programs aired at 9pm on their respective channels in Victoria, with Agenda Setters also available on 7Mate from 7pm.
