King's 5 teams
1 - Geelong
“There’s been a shift. I’m really warming to the Cats.
“When you see Tom Stewart and Jack Henry in that backline, it looks bulletproof.”
2 - Collingwood
“I know Collingwood are playing some great footy but I’m flipping it with the Cats at 1.”
3 - Brisbane
4 - Adelaide
5 - Hawthorn
They also powered ranked the best players in the competition.
Cornes' 5 players
1 - Sam Darcy (Western Bulldogs)
“He is the best player in the comp. Sam Darcy is the best player in football.”
2 - Marcus Bontempelli (Western Bulldogs)
3 - Nick Daicos (Collingwood)
“No discussion needed. He’s flying.
“For me, he is the third best player in the comp right now.”
4 - Sam Taylor (GWS)
“He played football’s equivalent of perfection on the weekend. I’m not sure you can play better.
“I’m really comfortable with him at four.”
5 - Kysaiah Pickett (Melbourne)
“With what he is doing in the role that he is playing and how important he is.
“He is a real point of difference to this league and his team.”
King's 5 players
1 - Marcus Bontempelli (Western Bulldogs)
“I think he is the best player in the comp.”
2 - Jordan Dawson (Adelaide)
“I think he’s had a huge year.”
3 - Bailey Smith (Geelong)
“His season has just been ridiculous. No one expected him to go to this level.
“His gut-running sets the scene for the competition.”
4 - Tristan Xerri (North Melbourne)
“I think he’s at that level now. He’s a beast. He’s the premier ruckman in the competition.
“What he’s doing in a team that’s underperforming has to be recognised.”
5 - Hugh McCluggage (Brisbane)
“It’s about time the competition recognised Hugh McCluggage.
“He’s been put in All-Australian squads and then disregarded from the team. I think this man is a top-liner in our competition.”
