The Crow in “no-man’s land” who rival clubs should come for

Lachie Sholl’s future at Adelaide has come under the microscope, with Crows great Mark Bickley suggesting the out-of-favour winger could attract attention from rival clubs if his omissions continue.
The 25-year-old winger hasn’t been selected in the Adelaide squad since round 5, so the question was posed to Bickley whether Sholl is currently stuck in no-man's land. Bickley’s response was loud and clear.
“Well he is (in no-man's land),” Bickley told SEN SA Breakfast.
“He has slipped down the batting order.”
With young talent pushing through the ranks at Adelaide, Bickley pointed to several names now ahead of Sholl in the pecking order.
“Dan Curtin looks like he’s locked in that spot on the wing, he was nominated as the rising star this week,” Bickley said.
“There’s probably others like Zac Taylor, we’ve seen (Sam) Berry come into the side, (Sid) Draper’s been added.
“There’s been those three other recruits that Adelaide got at the end of last year.
“So, yeah, definitely slipped down the batting order.”
Despite Sholl’s selection issues continuing, Bickley believes the winger is still good enough to play senior football - whether that’s at the Crows or elsewhere.
“He’s capable to play at AFL,” Bickley exaggerated.
“If at the end of the year if he’s still not playing, there would be interest from other clubs.
“I’m sure.”
