Star Swan inks two-year deal despite rumoured return home

Sydney’s Chad Warner has resigned at the Swans, inking a deal until the end of 2027.
Per SEN’s Tom Morris, the WA-born star midfielder has committed to the Swans, despite ongoing rumours that the 23-year-old was seeking a potential return home.
Although his options were explored, Warner will remain in Sydney for at least a further two seasons.
His new deal will take him through to free agency at the end of 2027.
The Swans have had a slow start to 2025, winning just two of their first six games off the back of their Grand Final defeat last year.
