Simpson and Whateley’s top four seeds after Round 6, 2026
Adam Simpson and Gerard Whateley have named their top four seeds following Round 6 of 2026.
Simpson and Whateley will each rank the four teams they have the most confidence in going forward on a weekly basis throughout the year.
The seedings will be updated as the season goes on via SEN’s Whateley.
See the seedings below:

SIMPSON
1 - Hawthorn
2 - Sydney
3 - Geelong
4 - Fremantle
“I just think these teams are in better forms. If they all played Brisbane tomorrow at a neutral ground, I'd be backing the other team.
“They're a bit banged up, and a little bit vulnerable.”
WHATELEY
1 - Brisbane
“I'm keeping Brisbane at one.
“The alternate was dropping Brisbane out and putting Fremantle in, but I just couldn't live with myself if I did that.
“I still think Brisbane would beat those three other teams on a neutral ground.”
2 - Sydney
3 - Hawthorn
4 - Geelong
“Geelong won my play-in game."
