Adam Simpson and Gerard Whateley have named their top four seeds following Round 20 of 2026.
Simpson and Whateley will each rank the four teams they have the most confidence in going forward on a weekly basis throughout the year.
The seedings will be updated as the season goes on via SEN’s Whateley.
See the seedings below:
SIMPSON
1 - Fremantle
2 - Brisbane
3 - Hawthorn
4 - Sydney
WHATELEY
1 - Fremantle
“Fremantle are number one and they'll stay number one.”
2 - Hawthorn
3 - Brisbane
“Two and three is the same as I've been for weeks.”
“Pick your order, any order you like.
“That won't get sorted until they play each other, so that's perfect.”
4 - Collingwood
“Adelaide won the play-in game (against the Swans) and then dropped the home game (to Collingwood). So, they're out.
“Sydney can't come back in, having lost the play-in game (to Adelaide) and only beaten the Giants; they've got to do a little bit more.
“So, I've got a new play-in game on Thursday night – Collingwood and Geelong, which makes perfect sense.
“Collingwood can have fourth for the moment, but it's just a straight play-in game. Whoever wins stays in fourth.”
