Race 3 | 7. Brigidine Gal
I have a slight concern back to the 1300m but can squeeze closer today than last start. The form stacks up really with (Scintilla & Flying Thinker running great since) Soft track no concern and there should be speed in the race to help if she does get back. (Still Alice, Zousain Bolt & Written Gold)
Race 5 | 3. Iconic Treasure
Got going late resuming over 1100m after snagged back to last. Combo over 1200m and second up is perfect mix as well as Soft track! Tenderize, Vintage , Kattegat will provide speed also helping. Absolute best of the day!
SANDOWN
Race 2 | 2. Machinist
First up form is solid and has jumped out well! This easier than last prep which included a G3 run! 1000m is the sweet spot and 3kg claim is perfect. Small field allows perfect run in transit from gate 4.
OAKBANK
Race 2 | 8. Star Gladiator
In a nice maiden last start wasn’t bad! Horrid gate so went back and had zero luck! Back to the 1100m and a better gate expect him to be much closer. Early speed a slight concern but as long as Top Shogunn doesn’t run them off their feet early; should be close enough to strike late.

Race 1 | 6. Kilman
Impressed at his last trials and gains the services of J Mac which is a huge push for his chances. His closing effort in a Warwick Farm 790m trial caught my eye, before he was strong over 1050m in readiness for this. Drawn barrier 5, he'll land midfield which will give him every possible chance to find the best going in the straight.
Race 6 | 3. Seven's
Progressive stayer that we tipped before being a late scratching. He was very well backed that day before coming out. He meets an average bunch of stayers and off his Australian debut, looks to have far more ability than these.
