The lads have taken a close look at Kyneton, Wyong, Townsville & Armidale in a bid to find the family some winners.

Cam Luke
KYNETON
Race 4 | 13. On Broadway
Was pretty decent on debut (leader won). Had a nice run but still lacked experience wobbling around the turn. Ran through the line well so expect the 1800m to suit nicely. Bit of speed from wide (Takemetothemoon) who is the danger but again can’t draw a gate. Barriers win races and that’s the difference here!
Race 6 | 7. Littlebirdie
They took a swing in two twice and was off the mark. Both distance and class. Back to a much much suitable race in both forms and will be hard to beat! Buckets can use the gate to force Snappy Pierro to work a little from the wide gate and can sit there perfectly. Ignore the last couple and if she is in the same form as previous runs in that 64 at Mornington (3rd) she will be very hard to beat.
WYONG
Race 6 | 1. Lavalier
Half on the Godolphin bandwagon today and this bloke hopefully comes back in nice form as a gelding. Couple of trials with no effort asked. Is going to need further but there is a little speed in the race (Lugano the main danger) so if should be ok. Poked around in the Tier 2 3yo races in town last prep so this is a lot easier. (Finished 2 lengths behind Evaporate at MV) I expect him to win a couple soon so hopefully today where he was ok 1st up last prep (debut) ignore good track form as they were better races.
Race 7 | 1. Last Druid
Resumes today and is a nice set up for him. Way easier than last year (ignore spring flop down straight) and has trialled up decently considering he wasn’t asked or couldn’t do a lot due to space. Speed drawn directly outside him with Russian and Kantishna which helps. Should have a nice run in transit sitting one out one back. Handles Wyong which isn’t for every horse.
ARMIDALE
Race 3 | 1. Takeover Lad
He has been so costly for the punters but today is his day! Finally gets to 1400m which I think he has been screaming for. Drawn perfectly, track no issue and outside of swing left no major speed (swing left and Dubious 6) so should be able to slide prominently and put himself in the race.
Race 5 | 3. Winged
Won’t get back like last start and should be able to control the race. Horse handles further so to have a little speed here won’t phase him. Western Conqueror is the danger and probably the speed but will need to work from that gate which allows Winged to sit on back of speed. We will know 200m in if we have the right speed map and if we do, we have the horse!!
Campbell Brown
KYNETON
Race 2 | 5. Nicabuk
Laming runner who nearly stole it first up, then got back and hit the line well last start. Third up today, up in trip to 1450m will suit.
WYONG
Race 3 | 4. Sheriff's Star
Rolled as short priced favourite last start, but I think today is his day. Short enough at $1.95 but will be to good for this field.
TOWNSVILLE
Race 3 | 1. Finsceal
Has got back and run on its last couple. Senior jockey onboard and handles the sting out of the ground at $3.20.
ARMIDALE
Race 1 | 1. Enniroc
