Race 2 | 1. Highvol
Beat a few of these ANZAC Day when he took out a listed race on debut and the others he should have covered. Draws a mid gate but will roll forward to take up a position.
Race 9 | 10. Magarten
Returns from Sydney where he bumped into a handy one in Know Thyself who has franked his own form by winning again. Hits this third up where he has form and he draws soft to get a gun run. He’s a huge chance at each-way odds.

Race 3 | 2. Akaysha
2yo fillies race. Good luck. Just going on form you think Akaysha wins. Defeated her stablemate in Beadman who both were on debut. He came out and bolted in on the Gold Coast last week by over eight lengths.
Race 5 | 2. Miracle Spin
Will appreciate the class drop here and get a claim to boot. Form has stood up with Les Vampires taking out last week’s Gosford Cup in fine style where he was 1.6 off him. Barrier is no concern.

Race 4 | 5. Daggers
Coming out of tougher races than this and the soft track is a huge plus. Think can get a nice trail from that gate and will be hard to hold out late after no real luck last start.
Race 7 | 12. Berkshire Breeze
Is a Flemington horse and although the gate is concern this is its chance to flex some muscle. I would like to see them be positive and pray for some luck as I’m not sold on a huge amount of speed and I think he is better closer in running than chasing from back! Golden ticket time for a horse that I think is classiest in race and we get a price due to the gate!
Race 8 | 1. Chorlton Lane
The soft track is key here! The horse does tease a little bit but I think betting back to the 1600m is key here. The speed will be on and if he gets to the best part of the track he will come rattling home.
