PORT MACQUARIE
R4-1 Einstein’s TheoryNormally gets back a little so the gate (9) shouldn’t be a major issue although luck will be needed. Speed will come from the 2 faves in Tatiana and Highland. Has stepped up nicely through the distance and expect 1500m to be perfect. This maiden isn’t of high class and the danger is Highland Mirage who will push forward and gets back to 1500 but I think the breakthrough is coming for Einstein.
R5-1 All Hunky DoryHas had a freshen up but that hasn’t been a concern in the past. He is perfectly drawn again to do similar as Taree where it worked hard to lead and then was tough late. 2kg claim from Millie Thompson helps a lot. Might not lead today as might sit OSL Coat Hanger who I expect will hunt lead from barrier 1. He is a tough horse and will be in front in straight and is the one to beat!
R6-7 YorikiriHad every favour last start when ridden perfectly to win but is drawn just as sweetly today to get a similar speed map. Has to carry the weight today but this field is weaker. Stays at the 1800m and does enjoy Port Mac where his best efforts have been. Not a huge amount of speed in the race (Maui & Gold Something) so be interesting to see what Sebastian’s Flyer does. He is the danger and if he goes back like last start (Wagga mile) he can’t win, but from that gate he might squeeze forward and be toughest to beat even though I expect Yorikiri to still get there.
BATHURST
R5-8 Stock RoadI am backing this bloke in the hope he handles a good track. On debut in a tougher race he got a long way back and was ok without letting down huge. I’m hoping that was inexperience and not firm track. Was really good last start on Heavy (behind a Canterbury winner last Friday) and the 1800 looks perfect for him 3rd up. He is a stayer for sure!! Ya Love Her, Luna Flirt and Hoorini all go forward so the speed is there for SR to rattle home!

R3-1 Eclair VitalityAbsolutely destroyed them first up at scone. Has come back in really good order. Will go through grades. $2.
BATHURST
R1-4 Kowloon PrincessDebut wasn't as bad as it reads. Comes out of the same Scone maiden that Eclair Vitality won. My best at Port Macquarie. Should improve significantly at around $4.60.
CAIRNS
R1-7 Looming LegendPlaced 2 of 6 on soft. Gets in light with the 2kg claim, up to 1400 a plus, and this is a very weak maiden.
