Racing in Brisbane today comes from Doomben where the track was posted a Soft (5) this morning. We’re in for a very hot day with a max temp of 36 degrees forecast, expect a swift upgrade. 8 races to get through with the opener set to go at 1.38pm local QLD time.

RACE 6 # 13 BANANA SLIDELightly raced filly who I thought may have needed the run fresh however that wasn’t the case when winning comfortably at the Sunshine Coast. Fitter & stepping up to the mile both positives. She can win again.
RACE 7 # 15 AUTUMNGIRLLiked her debut second here back in July however we didn’t get to see her again until last month when resuming at Ipswich proving dominant late, stepping up to 1350m looks very suitable.
MARKET WATCH
RACE 3 # 12 TIYEResuming filly from the Tony Gollan stable whose two outings last prep were both in Listed affairs during the winter carnival. Wynette will run favourite & there’s no doubt she’s shown good ability however 1200m fresh may test here out first up. That won’t be the case for this one who should be strong late.
