Sports Entertainment Network’s (SEN) WA radio programs have made a powerful entrance into the national podcasting scene, with two locally produced shows debuting in the Australian Top 300 Podcast Ranker.
And the shows are the only two WA-produced shows in the national podcast ranker – ranking them officially ranked 1st and 2nd among radio shows in the state.
SEN WA Breakfast featuring Adam Simpson, Tim Gossage and Scott Cummings and Mornings with Mark Duffield have both earned spots in the prestigious ranker, marking a major milestone for Western Australian sports media.
Together, the two shows recorded almost 100,000 downloads (95,102) from nearly 30,000 unique listeners (28,481) across the latest reporting period, the first WA-based radio programs to feature in the national Top 300.
Lachlan Smith, General Manager, Commercial – WA at SEN, said the achievement reflects the growing appetite for local sports content and the strength of SEN WA’s connection with its audience.
“This is a fantastic result for our WA team and a proud moment for local sports broadcasting. To see two of our shows recognised nationally in this way is a testament to the talent, passion and hard work of everyone involved. We’re committed to giving WA sports fans the content they love, and this recognition shows we’re on the right track.
“SEN WA is committed long term to producing more local content across our network of WA stations and the SEN app, which features a dedicated local experience.
“With strong listener engagement and growing national recognition, SEN WA is poised to continue its rise as a leading voice in Australian sports audio.”
