Cornes, Hinks, Greene headline star-studded SEN AFL call team
Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) is thrilled to confirm its AFL Nation commentary team for the 2026 AFL Premiership season, adding some new faces to an already star-studded line-up.
Once again, SEN will again broadcast every game of the 2026 AFL Premiership season live and free. Kicking off each round with a bang, Thursday nights will see Gerard Whateley and Dwayne Russell doing play-by-play commentary, joined by experts Premiership Coach Adam Simpson and – new to the AFL Nation team in 2026 – 297-game Head Coach, Ken Hinkley.
Fridays will see Matt Hill join Russell in play-by-play commentary, alongside experts Gerard Healy and Brad Johnson, plus Tom Morris is set to join the AFL Nation team as host of Friday Night pre-game coverage.
Morris also joins Crunch Time on Saturdays alongside Whateley, Simpson, Kane Cornes, Hinkley, Dermott Brereton and Luke Hodge.
SEN is also pleased to confirm that Brownlow Medallist and Premiership player, Shane Crawford, will be joining the AFL Nation team in 2026, as an expert commentator, as well as 300-game player for St Kilda and Fremantle, Peter Bell, Port Adelaide Premiership player, Chad Cornes, and current GWS captain, Toby Greene.
Across each weekend of football, AFL Nation’s star-studded commentary team will include play-by play commentators Gerard Whateley, Dwayne Russell, Andy Maher, Matt Hill, Stephen Quarterman, Tim Gossage, Kym Dillon, Matthew Cocks,John Donohoe, Jordan Kounelis, Sam Hargreaves, Brett Phillips, Peter Vlahos, David Wildy, Miles Pfitzner, Nick Butler, Jo Wotton, Adam White and Jack Fulham, and expert commentators, Adam Simpson, Kane Cornes, Luke Hodge, Ken Hinkley, Gerard Healy, Brad Johnson, Dermott Brereton, Mark Bickley, Chad Cornes, Liam Pickering, Peter Bell, Josh Jenkins, Adam Cooney, David Schwarz, Guy McKenna, Scott Cummings, Brenton Sanderson, Nick Davis, Toby Greene and Shane Crawford.

In 2026, SEN’s AFL programming can be heard on all SEN radio stations across Australia and syndicated to ACE Radio, Super Radio Network and Cruise 1323am in Adelaide*. Fans will also be able to access AFL Nation calls for every game via the SEN App, with the ability to also use SEN Sync – for a premium at-home broadcasting experience – and SEN Stadium – for a zero-latency broadcast experience for fans in-stadium.
SEN’s hugely popular parochial calls will again return in 2026, headlined by Blues Radio, led by Andy Maher, Sam Edmund, Ange Christou and Anthony Koutoufides. In addition, SEN will provide parochial calls for Cats, Crows and Power games, as well as Eagles and Dockers homes games. Plus, in 2026 Lions Radio will also debut for the reigning Premiers.
These parochial calls will be streamed on SEN Fanatic via the SEN app.
