SEN1116am is officially Melbourne’s home of footy on Saturdays, winning the coveted Saturday timeslot in the latest GFK Radio 360 Survey 4 results, released today.
On Saturdays, where SEN’s AFL Nation call is heard across the day, SEN was the number one-rated broadcast from 1pm–11pm with a 7.9% share (All People 10+).
In its target demographic of listeners aged 25-54, SEN’s share on Saturdays is12%, ahead of Triple M (9%), 3AW (4%) and ABC (2.1%).
The pleasing results in this demographic are also reflected on Thursday night (10.2%) and Friday night (12.2%).
Overall, SEN 1116am increased to 4.2% (All People 10+, up 0.5%) total audience share, plus an increase in cumulative audience to 399,000 (up 28,000).
Across the key demographic of listeners aged 25 to 54, SEN 1116am also experienced a significant cumulative audience increase of 203,000 (up 25,000).
Growth continued across all regular SEN 1116am programming:
SEN Breakfast: Fireball with Kane and Kingy (Kane Cornes and David King) on Mondays and Fridays, and Breakfast with Garry and Tim (Garry Lyon and Tim Watson) from Tuesday to Thursday – 4.4% total audience share
- Whateley (with Gerard Whateley, Monday to Thursday) – 3.9% share
- Captain’s Run (with Sam Edmund, Fridays) – 4.0% share
- Dwayne’s World (with Dwayne Russell) – 4.3% share (up from 3.1% last reporting period)
- The Run Home with Andy and Gazey (with Andy Maher and Andrew Gaze) – 3.5% share
- Sportsday (with Gerard Healy and Kane Cornes) – 4.8% share
The Odds Couple (with Gareth Hall, David Taggert and Josh Jenkins on Saturday mornings) - 4.6% share (from 3.7%)
Off The Bench (with Craig Hutchison and Liam Pickering on Saturday mornings) – 5.2% share (up from 4.8% last reporting period)
