Qualified 10th for the 110th running of the Indianapolis 500, New Zealand's Sir Scott Dixon will be fighting to replicate the success of his memorable 2008 win on Indianapolis Motor Speedway's oval track.
The Kiwi IndyCar driver has been to many great sporting events around the world - Super Bowls, World Cups, and the Olympic Games - but for him, the Indy 500 is a clear standout.

"It's just the enormity of this race, right? It's something that's been a tradition for over 100 years," Dixon said.
"To have a one-day sporting event, which is still the largest in the world (with) almost 400,000 people - the atmosphere and what you see, even if you're not into motor racing, it's one of those bucket list items."
The man behind the wheel of the No. 9 Chip Ganassi Racing Honda joined Sport Nation ahead of the 200-lap, 500-mile marathon known as 'The Greatest Spectacle in Racing'.
Compatriots Scott McLaughlin and Marcus Armstrong will line up in 9th and 16th respectively when the Indy 500 begins Monday 4.45am NZST.
