Cam Luke & David Taggart have your Saturday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Moonee Valley & Randwick in a bid to find the family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇
Cam Luke
MOONEE VALLEY
Race 5 | 3. Angel Capital
Finally we get to see this bloke back. Has trialled up really well in Sydney and handles Moonee Valley. Always a question at The Valley as he will get back a little but it’s a small field and I think he just has panels of class on the rest! Flies first up and good track is perfect!
Race 9 | 16. Esha
I love the way she went bang first time at Moonee Valley and boy is she fast. This is obviously a lot harder and a step up but she is quick. The gate is perfect as she can take a seat on the back of the insane speed from Midwest and Alabama Lass. Lanes 3-4 think might be an advantage and that’s exactly where she will be in straight. Big ask at start three but have been on her for a bit now $16 as a speculative bet and in an open Moir happy to be riding that ticket today.
Race 10 | 3. King Zephyr
Forget last start down straight. Excuses galore! This bloke is a serious horse. Has trialled up perfectly and no rain helps him even more. Will sit right behind speed and be strong late. Goes through grades really well and expect this to be another stepping stone to a nice race in the Spring. Only has to beat La Fracas really and I think he will be behind him which will be a disadvantage.
RANDWICK
Race 4 | 1. Changingoftheguard
Was great at Flemington digging deep late when giving weight to winner. Small field and no other leader so I think J Mac can go and control race at whatever pace he wants. Has run well third up and the drying track suits him better than the fav. Going to be very hard to hold out!
Race 6 | 3. Savvy Hallie
She has been great this prep and again draws better than others fancies. She can be on speed OSL again and that makes her dangerous. Third up only got beat by Nepotism over 1400m so staying at 1200m means this time means she will put others to the test and be very hard to catch!
Race 9 | 15. Swiftfalcon
I know this horse can be a conundrum at times but so much is dictated to by the barriers. He’s drawn really well with not much speed so I think he’ll squeeze forward and be prominent. Evaporate, Broadsiding, Aeliana! He only gets beat by really nice horses. I think he’ll run really well.
Race 10 | 7. Bauhinia (each-way)
Forget heavy track run first up. Drier the better and stays at 1200m. Will get out back but Dominetta ensures plenty of speed. Has won second up before! Her last prep was really decent before bad gate at Magic Millions. Expect her to run really well!

MOONEE VALLEY
Race 2 | 1. Electric Belle (each-way)
Will run well here third up. She always takes a couple of runs to hit her straps from a spell and her Moonee Valley form isn’t bad. Draws soft, pet trip and she should be tracking up horses that will take her into the race.
Race 4 | 2. Lincoln Rocks (each-way)
Is a horse at an each-way price who hits this second up where he’s yet to win but always races well. Will find this easier than what he contested last prep and soft track is in his favour and he’s won two from three over the course. Worth an each-way play.
Race 5 | 3. Angel Capital
We see the return of Angel Capital for his new stable and he flies fresh. He draws good but that most likely is irrelevant as he will get back and run on.
Race 6 | 1. Space Rider
I was on him first up when he won very well. Won’t get the run of the race like he did but hopefully he can sit outside the leader as he does have early speed. Strips fitter and Rosberg would want to be good to beat him.
RANDWICK
Race 7 | 2. Ceolwulf
Resumed in what was a tough run in the Winx Stakes. Draws soft here and hopefully he can jump better than last start and not get as far back. His second up form is good and he should be winning.
