Rucci’s “very good mail” on Wanganeen-Milera trade

SEN’s Michelangelo Rucci has been told some very interesting rumours about Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera’s next move.
The superstar Saint is still out of contract at the end of the season and yet to decide on where he’ll play in 2026, with his options either remaining at St Kilda or heading home to play for Port Adelaide or Adelaide.
While only a few weeks ago Wanganeen-Milera seemed destined to ink a two-year deal with the Saints, Rucci is now hearing from a very good source that the 22-year-old will be given the advice to leave Moorabbin.
As a result, he believes that a potential move home is more alive than it’s ever been.
As both clubs would have to trade for the non-free agent, Rucci’s SEN SA The Run Home co-host thinks that the Power would even throw Miles Bergman into the deal despite the utility only re-signing with Port in July.
Rucci: “There was a fair bit of mail that's been positioned to us in recent weeks, and everything keeps moving fast.
“But it’s been said there was enough on the table for Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera to sign a two-year deal with St Kilda and then get the godfather offer in two years (to go anywhere).
“But I was told today some very good mail, and my mail I know is very good because the man I got it from is very deep in this stuff.
“He said that probably the advice that Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera is going to get is not to be with St Kilda.
“That does put Adelaide and Port Adelaide in the frame, and that's why your question of, ‘Can they do a deal to close a trade for Wanganeen-Milera?’, is very interesting.”
“I gather it’s much more alive than ever before now.”
Dillon: “Miles Bergman will be part of the deal, there’s no question about that, if it was to happen.”
Rucci: “This is far from a lock for St Kilda.”
Dillon: “Standby, it’s ever-moving.”
As things stand, Port Adelaide don’t have a first-round pick in the 2025 draft, while Adelaide currently holds pick 18 given they’re first on the ladder.
It’s expected that St Kilda would ask for a King’s Ransom is Wanganeen-Milera did request a trade.
