All Blacks coach Dave Rennie has refused to be drawn into a war of words with the Springboks ahead of Sunday's Test at Ellis Park, insisting New Zealand will keep its focus on the field.
At a press conference earlier this week, Boks coach Rassie Erasmus was joined by former international referee Jaco Peyper, where they made a number of pointed remarks, particularly around officiating.
After revealing his side to play the first Test late Thursday (NZ time), Rennie was asked about South Africa airing such concerns around the breakdown and set-piece through the media, but said he had no intention of revealing the clips or concerns the All Blacks had sent to officials.
“We sent in clips of concerns that we've got. I'm sure they've done the same thing,” Rennie said.
“I’m not sure why they’re trying to air that stuff in the media. I've got no plans on sharing any of the clips that we have sent in with the media.”

Rennie also rejected the idea of piling pressure on the world champions by highlighting the expectations surrounding a sold-out Ellis Park.
“I’m not going to try and heap that on them and play mind games,” Rennie said.
“I’m sure they’re very excited to play at home in front of a sold-out crowd. We’re really excited to play there as well.
“That’s one of the toughest challenges in world rugby and so we’ll embrace it.”
Rennie revealed selection had been particularly difficult, with strong performances across the squad this year - both in the Nations Championship and in their tour matches in the Republic - forcing the coaching staff into several tough decisions.

The second row was one of the biggest areas of debate, with Patrick Tuipulotu and Sam Darry among those pushing strongly for selection but overlooked in favour of starters Fabian Holland and Josh Lord.
“We’ve got a lot of guys in good form. Massive competition for places and there’s a handful of spots that took a fair bit of discussion,” Rennie said.
Despite Richie Mo'unga's return, Ruben Love has been favoured at the all-important pivot role.
Rennie backed the Hurricanes star to make the most of his opportunity at No.10, saying the young playmaker had earned his starting spot after a strong season.
“He’s been excellent. He’s really confident, really clear. He’s led really well and, like I say, he has had a great season."
“He’s been really strong for us in the black jersey and deserves that starting spot.”
The first Test kicks off Sunday, 3am (NZ time).
