Phoebe Litchfield reveals the two key components of Australia’s 2-0 start in the Women’s Ashes

Phoebe Litchfield has admitted that Australia’s firing start in this year’s Women's Ashes series has stemmed from two things: some marvellous bowling form and being 'present'.
Litchfield admits stellar bowling stints, led by spinner Alanna King, has dragged the Aussies across the line in their two Ashes clashes to date.
“I think we’ve probably lacked with the bat so far; it’s probably been the bowling that has won us our games,” Litchfield said on SEN Mornings.
“'Kingy' bowls so many amazing deliveries, that first ball to Dani Wyatt (in the last ODI) was a cracking delivery.
“The four wickets are a credit to her hard work. She changed the game for us and got the conditions to suit her and we took the game away.
“We knew we were well under par, but I think our message is it only takes ten balls, and our team bowls enough good balls to create chances, and we just have to hold them.”
The Sydney Thunder captain said Australia is also making sure they don't become complacent, as they prepare for their third and final ODI in Hobart on Friday.
“We are trying to stay really present,” she said.
“We’ve been in this position before back in England, and I’d say we lost sight of what was ahead.
“Cricket is a crazy game, and we must grab momentum and apply pressure when we can. It’s more about not getting complacent in the situation we find ourselves in at the moment.
“We’re keen for a flat track hopefully down in Hobart as it’s traditionally a good wicket down there, and a nice place to play cricket.
“Hopefully we see the wicket today and have a little think. But we’re really trying to stay present.”
The final ODI will be played today at Bellerive Oval commencing at 10:05am AEDT.
