David Schwarz is never one to shy away from making big predictions and his latest one may be his biggest yet.
The 173-game forward for Melbourne believes that the West Coast Eagles will win their first game for the season against the Bombers.
This is despite having incurred defeats of 87, 19, 38, 81 and 71 points throughout their five games.
“Well, there is something unusual happening on Friday night,” Schwarz mentioned on SEN The Captain's Run.
“Being that West Coast are playing at home, Friday night game; very rare.
“And the way that the West Coast Eagles players have been playing, it looks like they have been going out on a Friday night.
“So, what I reckon is that they are going to go to the footy and they're going to get the chocolates against the Bombers.
“I’m playing on West Coast not being as pathetic, they have been ridiculed, they have been embarrassed; I think there is a bit of pride in the West.”
Eagles fans will be optimistic that the Ox’s prediction will come true when they play Essendon at Optus Stadium on Good Friday.
The game will begin at 4:10 pm in Perth which will be 6:10 pm AEST.
