Parker: NRL will not follow through on R360 threat

I’m not so sure about this ban threat.
I'm sure the NRL has done their due diligence in the background, but we've heard from experts in regards to the legalities in and around that space.
What I don't understand is, if you are off contract or you have no contract for next year, are you breaking any rules by just talking to another organisation?
You’re essentially unemployed so it's in your best interest to look at all options, is it not?
I'm not so sure if the NRL will follow through on the threat.
It's a huge threat off the back of the "cornflakes box" that PVL spoke about last week and now they've come down with some pretty hard sanctioning.
Let’s just say the game lost 10 players to this R360, 10 of the best.
We are taking a huge hit, the game.
I've got huge concerns because we're bringing another team with the Perth Bears and then there’s PNG to follow.
The game is already going to cop a hit with the dilution of players.
I don't think we have enough to keep the product where it needs to be.
Hypothetically, let's say Reece Walsh left to go to R360, there's no player in the game who has a following, like Reece Walsh.
He has lit the joint up, this year, we all saw what he did.
The audience and eyeballs and chat and talk and everything that goes with a Reece Walsh; so, if he left, you’re telling me he can’t come back?
I'm not so sure.
Let’s say Walsh, Cleary and Haas all went, you're saying these guys can't come back after a year or two?
I’m not sure the NRL has got this one right.
