Nasiah in Adelaide group chats? Crows defender responds
Is Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera already in chat groups with Adelaide Crows players?
It was floated on Channel 7’s The Agenda Setters that the St Kilda star, who is yet to decide on his future, is “getting along famously behind the scenes” with the Crows.
For context, a month ago Caroline Wilson indicated that Wanganeen-Milera wasn’t overly keen on the Crows due to the presence of Taylor Walker.
However, since that story it has become apparent that Wanganeen-Milera is now getting chummy with Crows players, according to Dale Thomas.

“You guys (Wilson and Kane Cornes) brought this to the Crows’ attention that maybe he wasn’t that keen,” said Thomas earlier this week.
“Since then he’s reached out to Tex Walker just to clear the air. Ever since then apparently things have been getting along famously behind the scenes including group chats with other players.
“So they just might be the secret weapon. You two (Wilson and Cornes) have gone and done the Crows (a favour).
“The Crows should be very grateful to you.”
Wilson added: “I’m sticking to my guns but things do change sometimes.
“A story can be right on Monday and wrong on Friday. Welcome to journalism, Dale.”
Adelaide defender Mitch Hinge was quizzed on Wanganeen-Milera’s so-called new friendship with the Crows.
Hinge is unaware of any chat groups but that’s not to say they don’t exist.
“To be honest I’ve got no idea. I’m not part of any of these group chats so I’m a little bit disappointed,” Hinge laughed on SEN SA Breakfast.
“I’m out of the loop. What kind of mate am I to my teammates if they don’t want to include me in any of that stuff. Maybe I’m pretty boring.
“That’s the first time I’ve heard of any of that.
“We saw on the weekend how good he can be. If that’s happening it is what it is. But to my knowledge, I’ve got no idea, I don’t know.
“We’re obviously just trying to win games of footy.”
Wanganeen-Milera, 22, is out of contract this year and continues to be heavily linked with both the Crows and Port Adelaide, the latter being the club of his two good mates Jason Horne-Francis and Jase Burgoyne.
Back to the Crows and ahead of Friday night’s crunch clash with Hawthorn, Hinge admitted that he and his teammates haven’t been great against the brown and gold of late.
They’ve lost their past three to the Hawks and ahead of Friday night’s crunch encounter Hinge is well aware they’ll have a task on their hands once again.
“Their forward line this week is very strong,” he said of the Hawks.
“They’ve got a lot of crafty forwards and a lot of danger down there.
“I fell like all their small forwards can finish and they’re all quite talented. Their work rate is really high, so no doubt we have our work cut out against us.
“We haven’t necessarily performed too well against them the last couple of times we’ve played them. Personally I feel like we’ve kept those receipts a little bit.
“We’re ready to go, it’s going to be a big game.”
The Crows currently sit second on the ladder and are intent on cementing themselves in the top four with a win over the fifth-placed Hawks.
