My As we edge closer to the opening of the state of the art Q and what will be a huge tick for greyhound racing in Queensland, we continue racing at our weekly favourite in Albion Park or the creek as some like to call it. Another action packed night of greyhound racing awaits with a 12 race card ready to showcase the sunshine coasts finest.
Race 1 is scheduled for 7:13pm with the last, race 12 stepping two minutes before 11pm. Racing over three different distances with more than a few Thursday regulars engaged. Plenty to like about tonight’s card with bests, value and Quaddie plays. Read below for more and tune into SENTrack 1593am for all racing action between 6-10pm.

R3 N8 AKELA OLA
In some good form and seems to be the class runner in this field with no Valpolicella like recent weeks. Sizzled four back with the 41.88 run over Ace’s Chance followed by bold runs when leading and falling short. Drawn ideal out wide with a handy record off outside draws and the seven having speed to cart us into the race. Price is staggering and can’t believe the four is your current favourite. Pretty keen.
R12 N4 HELLO WARREN
Charged home last week but got too far back and may scare a few off due to that. Tonight’s race sets up so much better with blistering pace in 2 & 3 to open space early, a vacant box in 5 and slow beginners in 6,7 & 8. Expect to settle a lot closer and have two dogs in his sights to reel in. Draws a very winnable race but relies on the slightest part of luck early!

R4 N3 HOWDY HOPE
Big run last week off a wide draw and strikes a winnable race and ideal box to perform from. Does her best work off low draws and proven four starts back when running 30.13 beating Modelo. Winning record is poor with 2 wins from 28 starts but has 11 minor placings to go along with that. Record off inside draws is far better than wide draws and speed in 1 & 2 sets up for the perfect rails run. Each way all day!
R7 N4 AIDEN’S QUEEN
Drawn to lead and usually leads most of her races. Map is ideal tonight but could also be ideal for a few dogs to run over the top. Been gallant the past few starts without winning and hope that she can bolt along our front and hope for jamming up behind. Has only won one of her past ten starts which was a 29.88 run over Bear’s Bullet. Expect to lead with minimal pace inside and wide runners in 5,6 & 7. Hold your breathe if your backing the win as it’ll get awfully tired late. Place hard!!
