As we charge to the mid point of the year we encounter yet another wonderful night of racing at the Q2 Parklands. Nine of the best sit there waiting to be analysed and a winner found. Three feature finals to highlight the nights card, the QGold Winter Chase & Sprint finals plus the QGold Stayers final. The first race is penned in for 6:42pm and the lucky last or get out stakes, race 9 is set to ping at 9:33pm. Enough of my talk, bests and more below!!

R3 N7 NON STOP RECALL
Monster run last week and up in trip seems a positive move. Draws well in 7 where he has good success from wide draws. Up against a class outfit in CHEERS FOR BELLA who was a tad plain last week dropping back to 600m. Expect we get a lovely cart into the race early and show great mid race pace. Have to hold off the 4 who does boast strong form lines. Pretty keen!
R4 N8 RED DIRT ROAD
Box 8 bandit and has been super since resuming. Ultra impressive winning last start track and trip in a fast 41.03, has a few dogs drawn inside who like to rails and should have the pace to cross and lead. In a kennel that’s flying at present and should land the knockout blow here with the pink. 7 starts for 4 wins and 3 minor placings screams confidence off the wide alley.

R5 N7 STERLING BRINDLE
Has been a genuine money muncher of late over the shorter trips and some of the bigger runs you’ll see in racing. Drawn awkward in 7 but expect to settle closer to the speed over 710m. Up and coming star if he puts it all together, still have my slight doubts if he hits the lead, will he go on with the job. Huge each way price and expect to shorten significantly.
