And in the blink of an eye we’re already well into the second month of 2025 and greyhound racing is going great guns! We return once again to the scene of the crime for each Thursday night, Albion Park, for what looks a very nice 10 race card.
The first race commences at 7:13pm over the 520m and the last is scheduled for 10:20pm. No feature racing for the night but we do have a 710m Free For All featuring superstar stayer Valpolicella and a 3rd & 4th grade race over 520m. Tune into SEN Track from 6-10pm 1593am on the dial to listen to plenty of tips, analysis and winners!

Great run last week and looks ideally placed to win here tonight. Slow beginners inside and out allows clear running early and every conceivable chance to lead. Love the preparation heading to Capalaba prior to tonight sharpening the dogs box manners and chasing levels. Expect dogs to make ground late due to numerous strong types in the field. Best on the card!
R8 N1 BOOTIN’ BOODIE
In form and drawn to sizzle straight to the front with blistering early speed and protection from the three. The 6 is absolutely airborne at breeding but happy to take it on confidently due to the draw and dog around it. We’re yet to miss off the cherry with 2 wins and 4 minors from 6 starts and had 2 wins from her past 4 starts at Albion Park. Beat the six three starts ago in sub 35 seconds and followed it up the start after with a fast 34.79. Hard to stop!!

Drawn nicely with two wide runners in boxes 1 & 3 who will both shift off the rails mid way to the post the first time. If and I mean if he stays on the rails then he looks to have a lovely run up the fence and is very strong. Has been in very good form, yes he comes from the back half of the field but sometimes races pan out for the dogs like him. Won 6 of his past 10 starts plus two seconds. Goes well off box 2 and seems well overs at $12 & $4.60.
R10 N4 BOMBER BAR COOL
Lacked zip early last week and was hampered mid race on multiple occasions. Drawn better tonight in box 4 and strikes a very winnable race. Yes, the record at the track isn’t great, but considering last weeks loss was 1 and a half lengths with givebacks, I feel he’s going as well as anything and is a lovely price. 2 wins and 3 seconds from his last eight starts shows some consistency on the podium. Quietly confident he will shorten too!
