Some say the Rugby League World Cup final has arrived a week early, as the Kiwis and Tonga kick off the semi-finals in a blockbuster clash. Samoa and Australia meet on Sunday to complete the line-up.
The Blackcaps and Breakers will both be looking to get back to winning ways. The Blackcaps face India in the second ODI, hoping to bounce back after a demolition at Eden Park.
The Breakers, meanwhile, will be keen to avoid another growling from coach Gordon Herbert when they take on the JackJumpers and try to snap a four-game losing streak.
The Melbourne Cup was just a taste of the huge racing season ahead, and Trackside has all the action across the codes this weekend.

How to sync live commentary on the Sport Nation app with your TV
  1. Head to sportnation.nz or open the Sport Nation app, select the match in the available streams and turn the volume up. Note: Most live sport will be on the main stream, but some events will be exclusively on Sport Nation Extra if there's a scheduling clash.
  2. Tune into the same match on your TV (MySky) or video streaming app (SkyGo or Sky Sport Now) and turn up the volume.
  3. For cricket, pause your TV or stream when you see/hear the bowler's front foot land during their delivery stride. For rugby league or football, pause your TV or stream when you hear the referee blow the whistle for the opening kick-off.
  4. Listen to the Sport Nation stream, immediately unpause your TV or video stream when you hear the same sound (the scuff of the bowler's foot landing or referee's whistle) on the Sport Nation stream. Video and audio should now be in sync with each other, or at least very close to it.
  5. If you're using a soundbar with your TV, the Sport Nation stream can be sent to it via Bluetooth.
