Kane Cornes has revealed who he believes to be 31 top-line A-graders in the AFL, doing so in an effort to amend the list put forth by Sam McClure on the Tradies podcast earlier in the week.
The Port Adelaide great was not a fan of the 30 players listed by McClure and wished to give it a go himself.
The original list did not include the likes of Isaac Heeney, Jesse Hogan, Dan Houston and Harry Sheezel.
“I was that upset about his list – but firstly credit to him because it was an excellent idea and I wished I’d done it myself – but the list forced me to text him right throughout the day about how disgraceful this list is,” Cornes told SEN Breakfast.
“I said to him, ‘Scoop I’m not sure you’ve watched football in the last two years with that list’.
“So I thought I’d take a big fat red marker to his list and give you the proper list.
“He had 30 names, so I’ve kept it at 30 because I think it’s easy to keep adding and adding. You could’ve ended up with 60, there’s that many good players, but I’ve added Harry Sheezel to make it 31.
“And I’ve made 10 changes to his list.”
