âI wasnât lyingâ: Morris stands by Jamarraâs apparent Swans desire

Jamarra Ugle-Hagan is back in Melbourne and ready to return to Western Bulldogs training.
That is according to SEN regular Tom Morris who is adamant the troubled forward recently told people close to him that he wants to play for the Sydney Swans.
Last week Ugle-Hagan responded to a social media post of Morris suggesting he wanted to be a Swan, indicating that the Channel 9 journalist was lying.
Jamarra wrote: â@trmorris 32 none of my mates would talk you bro. Stop cappingâ.
But Morris stood by his comments that the 23-year-old is seeking to reinvigorate his flailing career in Sydney.
âHe gave me a little cook. He said that I was âcappingâ. I had to Google âwhat does capping meanâ, and it means lying,â Morris said on SEN Breakfast.
âI can tell you I wasnât lying.
âJamarra Ugle-Hagan was telling people that he would like to play for the Sydney Swans next year. Whether that eventuates or not, Iâm not sure.
âI do think that his absolute first preference is to stay at the Dogs if they want him. But theyâve got to want him and heâs got to come to the party as well. Thereâs certainly been an erosion of trust there between Jamarra and the Dogs over a period of time.
âHe would like to get back to training at the Dogs. Heâs back in Melbourne, he wasnât at the club yesterday.â
So, how does Jamarra get back to training with the Doggies?
âThe Dogs are trying to work that out at the moment, what the next few weeks look like,â Morris added.
Before Morris pondered the trade value of the former no.1 draft pick, provided of course, the Dogs are looking to move him on.
âThe hard thing for the Dogs is - and I donât know exactly what theyâre thinking - if they do want to trade him next year, they canât come across publicly as wanting to get rid of him because his trade value plummets,â he added.
âHis trade value, if he doesnât play this year, itâs really unclear how to work this out. Heâs a no.1 pick with one year left on a deal, but heâs clearly tainted with a bit of baggage. I donât know exactly how they work out what heâs worth.
âIâd be surprised if he wasnât back at the Dogs in the next few weeks in some form.â
Ugle-Hagan recently spent time at a health retreat while increasing his training on the Gold Coast and in Byron Bay.
He is now back in Melbourne and reportedly keen to resume training with the Bulldogs.
