Each week the SENTrack crew will be handing out 3-2-1 votes for the weekend’s racing in retrospect.
Caulfield’s Memise Stakes meeting was the flavour of the week for Campbell Brown who handed star mare Treasurethe Moment three votes for her romp in the 1400m Group 1.
Brown’s 3-2-1
3 - Treasurethe Moment
“It’s got to be Treasurethe Moment for running a class record,” Brown said on Trackside.
“If that’s what she can do over the 1400m fresh, I think the spring is her oyster.”
2 - Sepals
“Ran time, really good win at Caulfield.
“I think he was probably the standout outside of the three-voter.”
1 - Tycoon Star
“Very nice horse. I thought he could turn the tables on Jimmy Recard - and he did.”
Noonan’s 3-2-1
Trav Noonan joined the Trackside team to put forward his 3-2-1 for last weekend.
3 - Treasurethe Moment
“It’s a pretty definitive three votes for Treasurethe Moment.
“Not many VRC Oaks winners do much as four-year-olds. She’s one of very few to come back and win a weight-for-age at four.
“Rare air for the Treasurethe Moment.”
2 - Sepals
“Lots of good judges across both of our networks were spruiking him and they were vindicated on Saturday.”
1 - Magic Time
“She was brilliant winning the Cockram Stakes first-up.
“Carried the big weight and she gave them a beating, really. She came from the back of the field and did what she liked with them.”
Additionally, Cam Luke and Noonan came together with Browny to give the votes for the weekend prior - Saturday, August 23.
