321 horses beaten after trading at $1.01 (AUS/NZ) - meaning the backers rated them a greater than 99% of winning from that position.

2025 was the shortest price Group 1 winners average on record. An incredibly low $8.02, with a whopping 32 favourites winning.
MOST TRADED RUNNERS:
Ka Ying Rising in The Everest was the most traded runner of 2025 and a nice fill-up for backers who were all over the Hong Kong sprinter.
Eight of the 10 most traded runners came in Melbourne Cup week with Ka Ying Rising in The Everest and Via Sistina in the Cox Plate the other two.
