Hawks father-son prospect to make VFL debut

Cooper Hodge is set to make his VFL debut this weekend, according to *Channel 7’s *Mitch Cleary.
The son of Hawthorn great Luke turned 17 last week which makes him eligible to play at state league level.
But he’ll be doing it with his dad’s other former club, the Brisbane Lions, and not the Hawks.
The talented youngster will play for the Lions against Coburg at Barry Plant Park on Saturday.
Hodge has been playing for QAFL club Morningside in 2025. He is a member of the Lions Academy and also a father-son prospect for the Hawks.
Lions or Hawks? The teenager has a massive decision to make ahead of next year’s draft.
