All Blacks great Ma'a Nonu may have finally hung up his boots for good.
On Wednesday (NZ time), Top 14 club Toulon - who Nonu joined mid-season as injury cover - announced the 44-year-old is leaving the club.
The team completed their season last weekend against European Champions Bordeaux, where Nonu was honoured with a post-game haka.
"You will leave at the end of the season but you will always remain in the Red & Black Family," the club said in a statement.
The 103-Test All Black set new records as both the oldest player and the oldest tryscorer in the Top 14.
The two-time World Cup winner joined Toulon after his Test rugby retirement in 2015, before returning for a brief second tenure this season.
He also played 126 games for Super Rugby's Hurricanes alongside stints in the US and Japan.
