SENΒ β’ Β July 14th, 2025 2:00 pm

Sam Edmund and Josh Jenkins have named their top four seeds following Round 18 of the 2025 AFL season.
Gerard Whateley typically does the seeds with Nathan Buckley, but with the duo off this week, Edmund and Jenkins stepped in to rank the four teams they have the most confidence in going forward.
The seedings will be updated as the season goes on via SENβs Whateley.
Whateley's most recent seeds were: 1 - Collingwood, 2 - Brisbane, 3 - Geelong, 4 - Western Bulldogs.
Buckley's most recent seeds were: 1 - Collingwood, 2 - Brisbane, 3 - Geelong, 4 - Western Bulldogs.
See the seedings below:
EDMUND
1 β Collingwood
βCollingwood are at one still, Iβm holding firm on the Magpies.β
2 β Brisbane
3 β Geelong
βGood run home, theyβll be thereabouts.β
4 β Adelaide
βI've had a good think about it, and it's relatively boring, but I've got Adelaide at four.
βI like what the Crows are building here.β
JENKINS
1 β Collingwood
βEven though they lost, they almost reaffirmed themselves at one with that comeback.β
2 β Brisbane
βBrisbane are two and I think the top two speaks for themselves. Big clash against the Dogs this Thursday.β
3 β Geelong
βI've got the Cats at three.
βThe Giants have got the wood over them and if they see them in a final, youβd be nervous. But I think theyβve done enough, and their record suggests they'll be there when it matters.β
4 β GWS
βI wrestled with three or four teams here, but I've put the GWS Giants in at four.β
