SEN’s Dwayne Russell has named the five teams under the most pressure heading into Round 7.
Russell’s pressure meter ranks teams from 1-5, with number one having the most pressure on them and the most to lose heading into the round.
Check out Russell’s pressure meter below.
1 – Sydneyvs Gold Coast – People First Stadium – Sunday
“I ended up going with Sydney as number one.
“The Swans, last year's Grand Finalists, 14th on the ladder right now and face the Gold Coast on the Gold Coast.
“Lose this, the Swans dropped to 2 and 5, and it's a long way back from 2 and 5.
“So, I've got the Swans at number one, given that they were last year's Grand Finalists that are now 14th.”
2 - Fremantlevs Adelaide - Optus Stadium – Friday
“Fremantle, I've got at two.
“Lose at home to Adelaide tomorrow night, and I think the Dockers could be the biggest headline to come from the weekend.”
3 – Hawthornvs West Coast - Marvel Stadium – Sunday
“I've actually got Hawthorn at three.
“The Hawks have lost 2 in a row. Well, they luckily have the West Coast of Marvel.
“The Hawks won't lose this, but if they did, if they lost a third in a row, then there'd be some questions being asked about Hawthorn.
“But the beauty is that they, 99.9 per cent certain of winning this, and their losing run will be over.”
4 - Melbournevs Richmond – MCG – Thursday
“I've got Melbourne at four.
“Lose tonight to Richmond, and all the good work of last week's win, and all the talk, it's in the trash bin.
“Melbourne lose to Richmond, they'll drop to 1 of 6, and then they head to the West Coast and play the West Coast Eagles.
“That would be a crisis so Melbourne, I think, need to get the job done against Richmond tonight, otherwise, it's all in the trash bin last week.”
5 – St Kildavs Brisbane - Marvel Stadium – Saturday
“I've got St Kilda at 5.
“The Saints have lost their last two after building their fans' hopes that finals are a possibility, and the Saints are in danger of dropping out of contention.”
