Coleman Medallist power ranks his top 10 AFL players ahead of Round 2
Coleman Medallist Scott Cummings has power ranked his top 10 players in the AFL ahead of Round 2, 2025.
Cummings releases his power rankings weekly on SEN WA Breakfast and he brought in two players that were previously unranked into his top five after hot starts to their season.
Those two players are GWS midfielders Tom Green and Finn Callaghan, with Clayton Oliver and Caleb Serong slipping out.
Cummings also named a watchlist of players that are on the brink of the top 10 in Will Day, Isaac Heeney, Max Holmes, Jordan Dawson, Bailey Smith, Dylan Moore and Matt Rowell.

10. Josh Treacy (Fremantle)Last ranking: 3
“He goes from three to 10, but I'm still a massive fan.
“I still think he's gonna be hugely important, and we'll see what he does this weekend, but he's still in my top 10.”
9. Jeremy Cameron (Geelong)Last ranking: 10
“Jeremy Cameron's at nine.
“He's so important to Geelong. They've got others around him, but he's the man.”
8. Connor Rozee (Port Adelaide)Last ranking: 8
“Connor Rozee stays at eight. He was probably their only flicker of hope on Saturday night.”
7. Christian Petracca (Melbourne)Last ranking: 9
“Christian Petracca comes in from nine to seven, he looks good, doesn’t he?”
6. Chad Warner (Sydney)Last ranking: 6
“Chad stays at six. He wasn't at his best and probably wasn't in their best on Saturday, but it just shows how important he is to their side.
“He is an elite footballer.”
5. Tom De Koning (Carlton)Last ranking: 5
“Tom De Koning I guess lowered his colours to Toby Nankervis in the ruck, but he was still probably Carlton’s best against Richmond.
“He is really important.”
4. Tom Green (GWS)Last ranking: unranked
“I've got a bloke in who I didn't have on the watchlist, but he's come straight back in.
“I'm so confident that he's going be in the top five this year, Tom Green.”
3. Finn Callaghan (GWS)Last ranking: unranked
“This guy was on my watchlist and he's rocketed into number three because he's gone back-to-back as his side’s best.
“Finn Callaghan is an absolute gun.”
2. Patrick Cripps (Carlton)Last ranking: 2
1. Nick Daicos (Collingwood)Last ranking: 1
