Nathan Buckley and Gerard Whateley have named their top four seeds following Round 7 of the 2025 AFL season.
Buckley and Whateley will each rank the four teams they have the most confidence in going forward on a weekly basis throughout the year.
The seedings will be updated as the season goes on via SEN’s Whateley.
See the seedings below:
BUCKLEY
__1 - Collingwood __
2 - Brisbane
3 - Geelong
“Geelong have dropped down to three (after losing to Carlton) for me.”
4 - Western Bulldogs
“I’m putting the Dogs in to four. I think they’re as dependable as any team.
“They have their game in great order even though they’ve got a few out. Their system and they efficiency is excellent.”
Overview: “Not a lot of shuffling. I’m enjoying Carlton’s form and that game against Adelaide will be instructive.
“They’re only one game from fifth and their percentage is 122. They’re one of the best defensive teams in the comp.
“I didn’t like what GWS are doing so I dropped them out. They need to be more efficient with the talent they have at their disposal.”
WHATELEY
1 - Collingwood
2 - Brisbane
3 - Western Bulldogs
“I’ve put the Bulldogs in to three. I had the winner of the Giants v Bulldogs as a play-in game as long as somebody lost, and Geelong lost so they’re out.”
4 - Hawthorn
