Buckley and Whateley’s top four seeds after Round 24, 2025
Nathan Buckley and Gerard Whateley have named their top four seeds leading into the 2025 AFL finals series.
Buckley and Whateley will each rank the four teams they have the most confidence in going forward on a weekly basis throughout the year.
The seedings will be updated as the season goes on via SEN’s Whateley.
See the seedings below:

BUCKLEY
1 - Geelong
"I have ignored my seedings previous to this, and I understand that Geelong haven't played much in the last couple of months and they've done what they needed to do.
"But, who do I think has got a game that is going to stand up when it matters against the best teams?"
2 - Brisbane
"Brisbane's good is very good, and it may well be the best. I get the sense that Geelong have a little bit of the key to unlock them over the last couple of years.
"Maybe they've got a few more weapons that they had even then."
3 - Adelaide
"I really do think that that's a flip of a coin game (between Collingwood and Adelaide). You're only a game from the GF after that, two games from the flag."
4 - Collingwood
WHATELEY
1 - Brisbane
"Brisbane's best is the best, so I'm happy to have that heading into the finals series."
"One and two play in the first final of the set up."
2 - Geelong
3 - Adelaide
4 - Hawthorn
“I still think they're playing footy that represents best four in the comp, even though they're going to finish eighth.”
