Buckley and Whateley’s top four seeds after Round 16, 2025
Nathan Buckley and Gerard Whateley have named their top four seeds following Round 16 of the 2025 AFL season.
Buckley and Whateley will each rank the four teams they have the most confidence in going forward on a weekly basis throughout the year.
The seedings will be updated as the season goes on via SEN’s Whateley.
See the seedings below:

BUCKLEY
1 – Collingwood
“I'm not going away from where I was last week even though it’s been pretty up and down.
“A couple of contenders had byes in Brisbane, Geelong and the Giants.
“I’m going GWS 4, Geelong 3, Brisbane 2 and Collingwood 1.”
2 – Brisbane
3 – Geelong
4 – GWS
“The Giants are 9th and I still think that they've got work to do.
“But a couple of their performances (have impressed me) and the fact that they've beaten the three teams (Collingwood, Brisbane and Geelong) means that I think their best is up there.
“I still the Giants’ best is top four.”
WHATELEY
1 – Collingwood
“Geelong and Brisbane didn’t play, so Collingwood obviously hold onto number one.”
2 – Brisbane
3 – Geelong
4 – Western Bulldogs
“I promised to bring the Dogs in if they won on Friday night (against Sydney), so I'm going to hold on to that.”
