Buckley and Whateley’s top four seeds after Round 13, 2025
Nathan Buckley and Gerard Whateley have named their top four seeds following Round 13 of the 2025 AFL season.
Buckley and Whateley will each rank the four teams they have the most confidence in going forward on a weekly basis throughout the year.
The seedings will be updated as the season goes on via SEN’s Whateley.
See the seedings below:

BUCKLEY
1 – Collingwood
“Collingwood stay at one for me.”
2 – Geelong
“Geelong goes to two.
“The Suns were playing some pretty good footy, and they just disarmed them.
“They were just harder and tougher in the end and took away their front half game.”
3 – Brisbane
“I've dropped Brisbane down a spot to three.”
4 – Adelaide
“I have a new team in at four, and that is the Adelaide Football Club.
“Regardless of what you thought about whether they were lucky with it and whether Brisbane shot themselves in the foot, Adelaide won the game.
“That 15-minute burst at the end of the last quarter against a really good opponent, when the game was there to be won, was very impressive.
“They've gone up to four for me at the expense of the Bulldogs.”
WHATELEY
1 – Collingwood
“Collingwood are the one seed and probably will be for a long time.”
2 – Brisbane
“Brisbane at two, I’m not prepared to drop them just for now.”
3 – Geelong
4 – Adelaide
“Adelaide have won their way in.
“That was their play-in game.”
