Brisbane superstar ruled out for the remainder of the H&A season
Two-time Brownlow Medallist and Brisbane Lions star Lachie Neale has been ruled out for the remainder of the home and away season.
The Lions have today confirmed that their superstar co-captain is expected to miss the Lions’ remaining three fixtures with a quad tear following the club’s big win over Collingwood in Round 21.
Brisbane has stated that Neale is only expected to miss the remaining three weeks, with his return set for the first week of the AFL Finals.

The Brisbane Lions released this statement on Lachie Neale:
"Brisbane Lions Co-Captain Lachie Neale will sit out the last three matches of the home and away season due to a quad injury.
"The midfielder underwent scans after experiencing soreness following Saturday’s win against Collingwood, which showed a quad tear.
"Neale was at the Club on Tuesday for training, where he started his recovery with an expected return for the first week of finals."
As it stands, the club sits in third place on the ladder, half a game and percentage behind the top spot.
With Sydney, Fremantle and Hawthorn to come, the Lions must continue to win games in order to lock up a spot in the top four, with both Geelong and Fremantle just half a game behind the reigning premiers.
